Miracles do happen and legend has it that he has brought boundless joy to a lot of issueless couples, irrespective of their religion, by blessing them with a child. Because of this, Kuthyala Gopalakrishna is also called as ‘Santaana Goplalakrishna’. The main idol in the sanctum sanctorum with Lord Krishna holding a child in his hands further justifies the title.
As a token of gratitude, these couples usually arrange for a show of “Yakshagaana”, a musical where actors depict scenes from the Hindu mythology. It is said that nothing pleases Kuthyala Gopalakrishna more than a show of “Yakshagaana”.
